Our Expert's NFL Picks For Week 15

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks (+3.5 O/U 43.5)

Where to watch

Thursday, December 15th, 8:20 PM EST at CenturyLink Field on Amazon Prime

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks Prediction

The 49ers have been rolling lately and Seattle has been slipping. Third-string quarterback Brock Purdy will travel to Seattle to take on Geno Smith and the Seahawks. Geno has proven to be pretty limited when he doesn’t have a run game and Kenneth Walker might be on the sidelines again. Geno wasn’t great against Carolina and without their star running back there is some concern about how well they will move the ball against San Francisco's defense.

Expert Pick:

San Francisco 49ers -3.5

Indianapolis Colts at Minnesota Vikings (-4, O/U 47.5)

Where to watch

Saturday, December 17th, 1:00 PM EST at U.S. Bank Stadium

Indianapolis Colts at Minnesota Vikings Prediction

While the Vikings look to be regressing the Colts are an absolute mess. Does Indy have the ability to win but can they put it all together on the road? The Colt's only win in the last 6 games came against the Las Vegas Raiders, who have proven themselves to not be a trustworthy squad. The Viking's pass defense isn’t great but Matt Ryan has struggled all year moving the ball. Calvin Cook struggled to get anything going on the ground for Minnesota against the Lions but the Vikings are still capable. Good thing they are at home for this one.

Expert Pick:

Minnesota Vikings -4

Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns (-2.5, O/U 37.5)

Where to watch

Saturday, December 17th, 1:30 PM EST at First Energy Stadium

Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns Prediction

Baltimore is off back-to-back close wins but the Ravens are without Lamar Jackson and lost their second-string quarterback last game due to injury. Deshaun Watson is still trying to get his footing in just his 3rd start of the season. How will he fare in this in-division matchup against the Ravens?

Both teams have issues at the QB position. Both teams make mistakes. The Browns were only able to score 10 points last game. Look for both defenses to show up and keep this low scoring.

Expert Pick:

Baltimore Ravens Team Total Under 17 Points

Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills (-7.5, O/U 43.5)

Where to watch

Saturday, December 17th, 8:25 PM EST at Highmark Stadium

Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills Prediction

Dolphins barely got a win over the bills earlier this year and that’s when everything was rolling for them. Tua has been struggling the past few weeks and now he has to go up to the cold weather in Buffalo for his third straight road game. How will that offense do on the road in the cold? They aren’t nearly as good on the road as they are at home. Dolphins look out of sync, the juice is gone, and the swag on the sidelines is gone. Hard to trust Miami in this spot and Tua’s confidence looks like it's waning. The Bills had no problem getting to the quarterback and applying pressure last week without Von Miller. Tua was 10/28 for 145 yards last week and might have another rough outing this weekend.

Expert Pick:

Buffalo Bills -7.5

Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears +9, O/U 48)

Where to watch

Sunday, December 18th, 1:00 PM EST at Soldier Field

Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears Prediction

One of the best teams vs one of the worst teams. The Eagles have proven to be a force on both sides of the ball and the Bears don’t have anything left to fight for. They aren’t going to the playoffs and are banged up on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Justin Fields always has a chance to make things interesting because of how dynamic he is as a thrower, but the Eagles might be too tough of a task this weekend. The Eagles are focused and are looking at every team the same regardless of their record.

Expert Pick:

Philadelphia Eagles - 9.0

Dallas Cowboys at Jacksonville Jaguars (+4.5, O/U 47.5)

Where to watch

Sunday, December 18th, 1:00 PM EST at TIAA Bank Field

Dallas Cowboys at Jacksonville Jaguars Prediction

Terence Steele, the right tackle for the Cowboys, is done for the year with an injury to his left knee. If the cowboys can find success in the running game they should have enough to win but this one might be close. Trevor Lawrence has been improving every week and had a dominant performance last week completing 71% of his passes and throwing for 3 touchdowns against the Titans. Considering how the Cowboys almost gave the game away to the Texans last week, don’t be surprised if the Jaguars cover and win.

Expert Pick:

Jacksonville Jaguars +4.5

Pittsburgh Steelers at Carolina Panthers (-2.5, 38.5)

Where to watch

Sunday, December 18th, 1:00 PM EST at Bank of America Stadium

Pittsburgh Steelers at Carolina Panthers Prediction

The Steelers gave up over 200 rushing yards and they are without Kenny Pickett this week as he went down due to injury. Mitch Trubisky should be behind center this week and he threw 3 interceptions after coming in for Pickett last week. Carolina has something to play for, they can still sneak into the playoffs so they will be focused on this one. The Panthers have been putting things together and trending up ever since the Christian McCaffrey trade. They are 3-0 at home under their new interim head coach and are 3-1 in their last 4 games overall.

Expert Pick:

Carolina Panthers -2.5

New York Giants at Washington Commanders (-4.5, O/U 40)

Where to watch

Sunday, December 18th, 8:20 PM EST at FedEx Field

New York Giants at Washington Commanders Prediction

These two teams played just a few weeks ago and it ended in an anti-climactic 20-20 tie. Ever since Taylor Heinicke took over the starting quarterback job for the Commanders they have been trending upwards. The giants seem to be crashing and burning right now. Daniel Jones isn’t dynamic enough to be a playmaker and they lean too much on Saquon Barkley to carry the load. Considering these two teams just met the under should be in play here. Both teams are familiar with each other now and should have more success stopping the opposing offenses.

Expert Pick:

New York Giants and Washington Commanders Under 40 Points

Kansas City Chiefs at Houston Texans (+14, O/U 49)

Where to watch

Sunday, December 18th, 1:00 PM EST at NRG Stadium

Kansas City Chiefs at Houston Texans Prediction

The Chiefs could have stomped Denver last week but they took their foot off the gas and almost let the Broncos back in the game. The Texans just sold out to get a win against the Cowboys and lost and will be completely defeated going into this Sunday. Look for Kansas City to run away with this one early. Considering the Chiefs scored 27 points in the first half against one of the best defenses in the league last week, they should be able to repeat this week against the Texans. Houston can’t stop anyone, the Chiefs should be able to get anything they want on offense as long as they stay focused.

Expert Pick:

Kansas City Chiefs Team Total First Half Over 16.5

Detroit Lions at New York Jets (PK, O/U 44.5)

Where to watch

Sunday, December 18th, 1:00 PM EST at MetLife Stadium

Detroit Lions at New York Jets Prediction

Both teams have been playing better than expected this year. Jets quarterback Mike White got hit hard multiple times in the backfield last week but is still slated to make the start this Sunday. The Lions have the upper hand when it comes to offense but the Jets have the better defense. This could be an interesting matchup. How will the cold weather and potential wind affect Jared Goff’s ability to throw the ball? He has a terrible track record in cold-weather games. While both teams are trending up the Lions have consistently played every game tough this year and have fewer injuries.

Expert Pick:

Detroit Lions Moneyline

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

Where to watch

Sunday, December 18th, 1:00 PM EST at Caesars Superdome

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints Prediction

The Atlanta Falcons have put Marcus Mariota on the bench and have moved on to their new QB Desmond Ridder, how will he do against New Orlean's defense? Both teams are still somehow in a playoff race because the division is so bad. While neither team has been performing well this year, the Saints are in a little bit of a better spot than the Falcons. They lost a last second game to Tom Brady and the Buccaneers but they were in control of that game until the final drive.

Expert Pick:

New Orleans Saints -4.0

Arizona Cardinals at Denver Broncos (pick em, O/U 39)

Where to watch

Sunday, December 18th, 4:10 PM EST at Empower Field

Arizona Cardinals at Denver Broncos Prediction

The Broncos may be without Russell Wilson as he’s entered the league’s concussion protocol. Brett Rypien is looking like he’ll be the starting quarterback for Denver as they take on the Arizona Cardinals off another loss. The Cardinals will be on a short week after their Monday Night Football embarrassment to the Patriots. Both teams are deflated and both their starting quarterbacks might be out. Neither team isn’t going to make the playoffs so they don’t have anything to play for. Both teams are bad at the QB spot, bad at the coaching spot, and are trending down. Denver has the better defense and it’ll be a home game. I have more trust in the Cardinal’s ability to get the ball into their playmaker’s hands better than the Broncos but both teams look miserable right now.

Expert Pick:

Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos Under 39 Points

Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Chargers (-3, O/U 46)

Where to watch

Sunday, December 18th, 4:25 PM EST, at SoFi Stadium

Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Chargers Prediction

Ever since the Titans fired their general manager during the middle of the season their whole team has looked off. Seems like there may be some internal struggles going on in the Titan’s locker room. After a poor start, the LA Chargers have started to figure it out. Justin Herbert is looking like a pro-bowl quarterback and the offense is moving the ball down the field with ease. Expect the Titans to come out and play hard after their embarrassing loss to the Jaguars; but also expect a similar result. The Chargers should be able to move the ball and score just as well as Jacksonville did.

Expert Pick:

Los Angeles Chargers -3

Cincinnati Bengals at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3.5, O/U 42)

Where to watch

Sunday, December 18th, 4:25 PM EST at Raymond James Stadium

Cincinnati Bengals at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tom Brady-led Buccaneers don’t look like they can hang with the better teams in the league right now. The opposite can be said about the Joe Burrow-led Bengals as they are trending upward and have a high-powered offense right now. The Buccaneers could be having deja-vu as they relive the same nightmare from their beatdown last week against the 49ers. There just isn’t a lot to be happy about if you’re the Bucs. The defense looks bad, the offense looks bad, the energy on the sidelines is down, and Tom Brady is getting into screaming matches with his teammates every single game now. Expect more of the same from this disappointing Tampa Bay team.

Expert Pick:

Cincinnati Bengals - 3.5

New England Patriots at Las Vegas Raiders (PK, O/U44.5)

Where to watch

Sunday, December 18th, 4:05 EST at Allegiant Stadium

New England Patriots at Las Vegas Raiders Prediction

The Raiders feel like a completely defeated organization. They’ve lost more close games than they’ve won and they have late-game meltdowns on a seemingly weekly basis now. The Patriots are fresh off their Monday night win against the Cardinals and are on a short week but will probably just stay on the west coast to limit travel time. The lowly Patriots offense scored 27 points against Arizona and it’s not like the Raider's defense is any better. The Pats looked like they may have finally figured things out on the offensive side of the ball.

Expert Pick:

New England Patriots Moneyline

Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers (-7.5, O/U 40)

Where to watch

Monday, December 19th, 8:15 PM EST at Lambeau Field on ESPN

Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers Prediction

In the surprise of the season, the Baker Mayfield-led Rams are coming off a win Thursday night to improve to 4-9 on the season. While the Rams season is pretty much over and there’s no hope for a playoff run, they may have some new life now that they’ve signed Baker Mayfield. Both teams have been underwhelming this year. The Packers are coming off a bye week so they’ve had extra time to prepare for this underachieving Rams team. While they may have the advantage at quarterback, Green Bay has proven they shouldn’t be a touchdown favorite over anyone, for that reason look for the Rams to cover.

Expert Pick:

Los Angeles Rams +7.5
